in #needleworkmonday6 years ago (edited)
Greetings to the Steemit Mom community. Today I want to share with you, the realization of a children's story entitled "The sad story of Juancito. A street child".

I am the mother of a cute boy of 4 years and a half of age, he is studying the first level of preschool, for his closing project "the magical world of reading" he was assigned the realization of a story.

For the realization of the story the Teacher of my son, I indicate the following criteria:

  • The content must be done through eye-catching images.
  • The story must be related to some feeling (fear, joy, anger, sadness, love).
  • The material must be resistant, lasting in time.
  • The most creative stories will be selected for the closing of projects.

Realization of the story

We started with the elaboration of the story, my husband (dad) made the main idea for the realization of the story, focused on sadness. It was based on a real life story, currently it is no secret for anyone the situation in my country (Venezuela), where it is very common to see street children. These street children always come knocking on the door of my house to ask for food.
When they knock on the door of my house, my son is always on the lookout and tells us to go out and open the door. When they are the street children we give them something to eat, my son is always very restless about the situation and asks questions like Why do these children come to ask for food? Why don't they have a house? Where are their parents?

Subsequently, Mom continued with the realization of the story, a real life story turned it into a wonderful fable. Using the imagination and the computer, I designed each one of the pages, trying to place colorful images.

Once the whole story was designed, it was printed on recycled paper, so that my son could start practicing the story.

Then we continued with the elaboration of the story, in cloth. The following materials were used:

  • Scissors
  • Chalk
  • Fabric
  • Thread
  • Synthetic cotton or wadding padding
  • Sewing machine
  • Cold Painting
  • Marker
  • Brush
  • Pencil and eraser

After finishing the story and my practical son for the last time. He presented it in his classroom and was selected for his closing project.

We finish with the presentation of my son, in his school. We are parents, very proud of our son!

Story the telling.

  • Once upon a time there was a boy walking down the street called Juancito who was very poor.
  • He had no parents, no house and no food.
  • One day he came to Isael's house to ask for food. Isael's parents gave Juancito a plate of food and a delicious cambur.
  • Isael was very sad for Juancito, so he prayed to God.
  • Diosito we beg you to please help all the children of the world, because they deserve to be happy; to have a very nice family, a little house with toys and delicious food every day, amen".
  • Juancito got a nice family that adopted him, ate delicious meals every day. In addition, he lived in a small house with many toys and a cute dog.
  • "Colorín colorado this tale is over"

I hope you liked it
