Please excuse the not-so-great background aka the wooden fence in my yar. BUT, as you can see, now that all the baby sweater orders are done, I can concentrate on my own cardigan.
The main body of the sweater is finished and one sleeve is done.

I started working on one of the pockets, which was a bit confusing at the beginning but I thiiiiink I got it..

Personally, I’m a bit of a multitasker, or at least if you count watching tv while doing other stuff, then I am 😂.
One of the reasons I love knitting is that it gives me something to do with my hands while listening to books, watching movies, or even during school.
In fact I used to knit during class at co-op (homeschoolers for the win 🤘🏻) and one of my teachers wasn’t really going for it, at least not during her class 😅.

What do you all enjoy doing while knitting?

Thanks for following along! ❤️

I know you’re excited to finally get back to your own cardigan, Yay!! It’s looking really good!!! I love the one sleeve pic! 😄👌🏽

Whooo Hooo for homeschoolers (says the proud parent/teacher lol)!!

I watch my kids run around crazy, TV, the scenery outside while my husband drives and people in the waiting rooms while I crochet! 😁

Looking forward to seeing more as your cardigan develops!!

Thank you!! And yes! Let’s hear it for one sleeve pictures haha

Ha!!!! Yes!! 😁

Happy needleworkmonday . the process of your cardigan looks good. I hope it comes out nice. as per your question, I don't knit , I sew. The only multitasking I can do then is to listen to music or an audio recording of a book or anything. Can't take my eyes away because of the needle lol!

Thank you! Yeah, I feel like with sewing there’s a danger of sticking your fingers with needles if you don’t watch it 😂😂

I totally knit while watching movies or listening to podcasts too! I also bring simple knits with me to meetings--haven't yet been called out on it but I bet it'll happen one day. To be honest though, it actually keeps my mind from wandering and helps me focus better!

Yes! Although sometimes I get distracted and my mind wanders but it does help!

Great work thumbs up 100% upvote and follow. nods.
I don't knit, but I wish I knew how. You just gained a new follower!

Thank you!

I like what happens. the cardigan will be stylish. how did you knit the bars? will not there be buttons?

Thank you! The edges are ribbing (knit 1, purl 1 and repeat). There won’t be buttons on this one.

Thank you! be sure to show us the finished result. by the way the fence in the form of a background looked great :)

Of course! And thanks haha!

I tend to do knitting/crocheting while I wait in the car. I can also listen to the radio which is quite relaxing and I find I also learn new things (mainly from the BBC Radio 4 or 3) @lizgore.

Your cardi looks like it's coming on nicely @lizgore :) I feel really inspired by needleworkmonday posts, so I've decided to pick up the courage and knit something for myself as well. :)

Thank you! And I wish you well with your knitting! ❤️

You will be finished in no time! I wish I could multitask like you but I don't dare take my eyes off what I'm working for fear of making a mistake. I don't knit though...only crochet, so maybe that makes a difference?

Hmm maybe so and thank you!

Looking great, @lizgore! There's just something magical about black cardigans, right! Happy #NeedleworkMonday to you, my dear!

Thank you!

Love the cardigan!!! Need the pattern (please, so cute, did you improvised it?) 💕💕 You have to know I am addicted to crochet/knit cardigans...
And I am totally with you, I also love to knit while doing something else, I recently tried to walk while knitting, but it only functioned in my room :-D
and I spent many lectures sketching and knitting :-D

Thank you!! The pattern is “No Frills Cardigan” by Petite Knits, you can find it on ravelry 🤗

Uhhhh jumping directly to ravelry <3

Liz you are doing a great job on the sweater and on Steemit. The level of engagement you get in your comments is fantastic. Way to go!

Thank you! I absolutely love the knitting community on here, they’re so kind! 😊
