RE: Two and a Half Years Since I Learned to Sew

Hello @hoosain! Thank you for joining us for #NeedleWorkMonday today! I love hearing stories of how people got started with their skill. Those pieces you made are all really lovely! I really like the kimonos and cardigans and especially the girl dresses. I am currently learning how to see with my 7 year old daughter. Unfortunately I didn’t take the opportunity to learn when I was younger from my mom. She’s been a seamstress for over 30 years but back then I thought it was boring and didn’t appreciate the skill or how I could benefit from it.

Now we just watch the videos and sew along with them. I’ll be posting about my daughter’s first project next week :)

I love the idea of #needleworkmonday and I actually learnt about it through your posts, so thank you for that :-). It's great that you're learning to sew with your daughter... The course I attended had women of all ages learning to sew including a couple of women who were already in their 60's... It's clearly never too late or too early to learn.

Thanks for stopping by @crosheille

Oh that’s Awesome! I’m so glad you learned about it through my posting! I had no idea it would take off this great when I first introduced it! It makes me happy knowing we have a community of crafters that have come together to share their work and fill up the blockchain with amazing creations!!

Oh yes!! You are absolutely right that it’s never too early or too late to learn a new skill!!! 😉
