On the Friday I posted about knitting this bow:

I had no idea in a few hours I would go home to find my oldest daughter had passed away. On the floor of my walk-in closet. With her shoes on and her sunglasses in hand and an unfinished text on her phone. As if she had just gone in to get a sweater and suddenly was taken.

Then began the blur of EMTs, police, coroner, pastors, family and friends. We survived. We took care of one another. We thanked God for her life when she was well and for having mercy on her when she was unwell. The photo of my daughter above was taken when she was healthy and strong and happy--and teaching English to children in Venezuela.
At the moment I was posting about that knitted bow, my daughter was still alive and we had had a good morning before I went to teach classes. The bow is a reminder of normal life (whatever "normal' really is.) As I return to life after the shock and initial intense pain, I turn back to knitting--arguably the most normal thing I do.
Andrea loved the yoga socks I made for her, so here is a pair I just finished last night for myself:

I will be writing up the instructions to share soon.
I feel your pain. Hoping you will get well soon and able to stand again after all. Godbless you...
There are no words to express how dreadful this is. I’m sorry my friend 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗
