Wardell Stephen Curry II was born in march- 14-1988 (Akron, Ohio), but he grew up in Charlotte-North Carolina where his dad was playing in NBA for Charlotte Bobcats . Stephen curry is competitive guy and he looked at all the sports, but he wonted to do what his dad did.
He went to Charlotte North Carolina high school where he was at sophomore year only five foot six and weighed 125 pounds, lacking strength he still shot from the ball from his waist. His father told him that if he want to play at college he need to bring up and to shoot from above his head. He worked all summer with his dad and that was a tough summer for him. He was shooting at late nights and a lot hours a day practicing his shooting form.
With that new shooting form he average about 20 points per game next season (junior season). After high school big colleges were not interested in Stephen Curry and he was little bit hurt, but Stephen know that there is some college that want him and that collage was Davidson- small liberal arts school 20 minutes north of his home. Coach of Davidson think that big collages didn't want him because of his size but they made a huge mistake. Stephen Curry let his coach to coach him and the good things will happen. Stephens first college game was against Eastern Michigan and Stephen got nine turnovers in the first half and they were down 18 points at halftime and the coach put him in starting lineup at second half and they won, next night Stephen put 32 points.
But the best was yet to come for Stephen who had grown six foot three by his sophomore season. At March 21 2008 Stephen scored 40 point against Gonzaga and two days later he scored 30 against Georgetown. He averaged 32 points a game to road for elite eight. In a span of 10 days Stephen become a household name and it changed from being Dells son to Dell being Stephens Father.
In the next season there was no more of the same, he led the nation in scoring where he averaged 29 point per game then declared to 2009 NBA draft. But Stephen heard some stuff outside like a he is too small to go in NBA or he is not that strong, he cant play defense, he is not that athletic and he was nervous.
Stephen was picked in 2009 NBA draft with 7th pick by Golden State Warriors. There is a fact that New York nicks wanted Stephen Curry. Stephen finished the 2010 season like a second in the voting for the rookie of the year award but next two seasons Stephen had some really big problems with right ankle and missed 48 games, but that didn't let him stooping to be what he is now. When he backed in 2012 season he placed the new three point record for the season and singed the new 44 million contract and led the warriors to the playoffs.
Stephen is a lover of golf and he play that sport really nice. He is a father of two daughters and he is expecting his 3rd child.
