I was just curious on how high he would rank between Finals MVP´s if he could keep up the pace of:
35.5 PPG, 11 REB, 7AST on 56.3/50/90 splits because the stat line looks insane to me.
Comparing him to some All-Time Greatest the line would look pretty good (and yes I know it is a little bit early to overreact):
- Jordan 92/93: 41PTS, 8.5REB, 6.3 AST 50.8/40.0/69.4
- Shaq 99/00: 38PTS, 16.7REB, 2.3AST 61.1/-/38.7
- Jerry West 68/69: 37.9PTS, 4.7REB, 7.4 AST 49.0/-/83.9
- Magic 86/87: 26.2PTS, 8REB, 13AST 54.1/50.0/96.0
- Hakeem 94/95 32.8PTS, 11.5REB, 5.5AST 48.3/100/69.2
Magic and Hakeem had only one and two 3PA.
But in addition to his great offensive contribution, you forget something, his great defensive contribution, giving up to 5 caps the game number 2, certainly pushing back the cleveland offense.
yes, you are totally right I should have mentioned that, especially in regards to recent Finals MVP´s like Kawhi or Iguodala.
