I was one of the first on steemit with hopes of starting a blog. The life got complicated and I never did. This seems like a good day to start.
Think I'll start with this photo. This is the day after the Navy stopped calling me a recruit and started calling me a sailor. My father served in the Navy in the construction battalion (CB). My mother served as a radioman (RM). I joined the US submarine force. After Sub'school I would serve on the USS Connecticut.
