I enjoyed a precious few minutes this morning with this little bundle of feathers. It flew into the window glass and winded itself a little. This is a fledging not long flown from the nest I think from the look of the feathers.
It sat quietly in my hand for a few minutes and then flew off.
What a wonderful start to my day for me, if slightly dazing for my little feathered friend.

Aaaaaw! How cute this little feather ball is! I once found a very young bird in the middle of the road too. It felt cold and looked scared so I put it in my hands to keep it warm. It felt so soft and I just loved this little friend. After a while it started to fly again and I released it back to mother earth :)
It's so beatiful to experience such a connection to animals, right?

I am glad the little fellow only dazed himself and that he could fly off after getting his bearings.
He was fine yes - as he squeezed my finger momentarily as he sat in my palm I felt he was saying thanks
What a sweet little guy. At least he only had his feathers ruffled. I hope he avoids the window next time. Beautiful photo opportunity though. 😀
