Hi everybody, all Steemians, friends, followers and the whole community! 👋 👋 👋

This is my next leg of the journey through Moscow parks. It is my pleasure today to show you Severnoe Butovo Park. I really hope you will enjoy it! 😊 😊

As per wikipedia there are about 25 big parks in Moscow, and many many smaller. Generally is a green city, and you can have a great time, enjoy and relax in different parks, as they are located all over the city, in the very downtown, in the central part and of course the bigger ones by size in the outskirts.

Severnoe Butovo Park (Северное Бутово Парк)

Some first hand info:

Severnoe Butovo Park is located in the very South of Moscow just off the main ring highway that circles the whole city.It doesn't belong to the family of the big Moscow parks, but is a small one conveniently located between residential buildings in the outskirts of the city.

It is such a pleasure to just walk out of your apartment, and in a few moments to immerse yourself into this greenery.

Few years ago the park was a huge reconstruction site, but it was an excellent job done by the city authorities. The whole park was renovated, paths, benches, bikes paths etc.

The city doesn't have a shortage of land, that is the main reason you can see everywhere playgrounds for adults like here on the pic.

You say small, but this does not look small to me. I love the building in your first pic. And I am very interested to know why the walkways have two types of paving on them. I looked at your other posts for this series. Great job and I will be glad to see more :)

@fitinfun, thanks for stopping by:) 👋

  1. The Building is a church with a small cemetery right on the back of it.

  2. Actually it is small by Moscow standards. I read your comment twice, and realized that you are right.I have lived in many different global cities, and yes now I think Moscow is in the top by green areas, although I have read some comments here from people surprised to know how green this city can be.

It is a local, borough park. I will be posting sets of huge and local parks, so stay tuned:)

3.Two types of paving: for bykes and pedestrians.😉

That's wonderful. I will be looking out for more. I was starved for green in Bangkok recently. Now in Kuala Lumpur I have green everywhere. I will get some photos going :)

For sure, will continue with park sets.I am curious about Kuala Lumpur, have checked a lot of info about the city and the country in general.( I am getting very close with this part of the world because of business reasons ). Just recently visited Bangkog and will try to sort out some pics to make sure to upload few of them. The city is interesting, visited some parks, but they seemed to be small.

Well, I love both, and actually every place I have been in SE Asia. I've visited most of the big cities on Visa runs. And I have seen a bit of the more rural places. The lifestyle here is slower and way more friendly that I am used to in the states where I lived in many places over the years.

Bangkok is a concrete jungle for the most part. My "nature" photos are mostly planter boxes! I've only been in KL for a few weeks and not really sightseeing at all yet. But the green is very noticeable.

Be sure to let me know if you get over here. I would love to meet up and there are MANY steemers here. I know they would be happy to see you and they have welcomed me like you would not believe.

@fitinfun, for sure I would be very happy to meet you and all the other Steemians in any place in the World. We keep in touch. Actually I have many friends from SG, Indonesia, Thailand, Myanmar.Unfortunately no one from Malaysia.

Очень хорошие фотографии. Сам парк, аллеи и даже утки напоминают наш парк в Медведково на Яузе.
И церквушка недалеко в нашем парке тоже есть!

Ni chego sebe, kak budet vremya zaglyanu i v vash rayon pofotkat.

Many parks are being reconstructed in Moscow and it is really good. Nice bike paths. Good flowerbeds and well-groomed trees.
But I don't like Moscow's fat duck :)))

Hehe @aliceforin77, yeap many fat ducks over here. There is a type of ducks that is Mediterrean, got free from the Zoo in the 40-ies, and used to harsh Moscow winters. People feed them. Few decades later this is the predominant type of ducks not only in the city, but the range expanded further into other Russian areas.

Posted using Partiko Android

These ducks are very well fed, all of them are fed in the cities, but not everyone understands that together with ducks and rats are fed :)

I have seen ducks to be fed everywhere around the globe. So no exception in Moscow.
