A rainy morning;
clouds releasing nourishment.
Watching and listening;
rain is comforting.
Wet squirrel runs from red oak
along the wooden swing set bridge to the pecan tree;
looking for breakfast, but finds a squirrel friend instead;
chases him and jumps into the golden raintree.
Puddles form from God's generosity.
Me observing;
thankful, calm and grateful;
praying all could see these blessings...

Thank you! Yes, the squirrels have a lot of fun in our backyard, as long as Pepper, our dog, is asleep! She chases and barks at them when they are in the biredseed feeder or stealing pecans from our tree!
@violetmed You have an incredibly beautiful courtyard with a unique magic to be surrounded by plants so beautiful and varied from our mother nature. After the rain ends the plants look even more beautiful and renovated with an incredible brilliance fantastic mind. Yes friend rain is a nice blessing from nature so that our plants can feed and give us beautiful fruits and flowers. It's raining a lot around here too, @violetmed! Sometimes I worry about people who are homeless or live near rivers, but I also think about the plantations, the people who plant and need rain to grow their trees. I really liked your poem, beautiful lady.
Yes, I know sometimes there is too much rain in places! We have some parts of the US that are in dire need of rain and others that have too much! Right now my city is lucky as we have had plenty of sunny days and now some good rains for the last 3 days! I do pray for people to not be affected or lose their homes or crops to flooding!

Yes ...very correct, at this time of the year it always like that, although last year was not raining constantly compare to this year.. well all good! In due time heaviest rain still coming, then after sun will come reigns till next next year.. W/Africa having best weather tho.. thank to God for that.
