Since good weather came back to Austria in the last days, we decided to take a half-day hike to one of our favourite lakes in the nearby mountains - the Laudachsee.
We parked our car at a sweet little house next to a small creek.
An amazing walk through beautfiul grasslands and woods followed.
Just look at the beauty of this trees. It is incredible what mother nature can create.
Since there are many small creekslike this the air was nicely fresh and felt amazing on the skin.
After an one hour walk we reached the beginning of the lake.
Words can not describe how beautiful this lake is - so I will just let the pictures speak for themselves!
We took our chance and went for a refreshing swim in the mountainwater (around 18°C). Then we went on to the only small food place there - the Ramsauer Alm. We enjoyed a belated breakfast there.
In the months the food place is closed, you still can get a fresh beer out of this machine
Finally we started our way back home around the lake (a 30minute extra walk).
Back in the village there was a farmer who sold fresh milk products and smoothies. Really nice after such a walk.

If you guys like posts like this there will sure be some more of this sort coming! If I had the time I could do a different but similar beautiful route every day - Austria has a lot to offer!

Is this even real!?! Wow! No words. We are surrounded by such beauty and we fail to realise it sometimes. The trees, the grass, the mountains, the flowers.... How were they even created? Insane haha but wow Im taking the next flight to Austria brb :P @theaustrianguy

Yeah you're right! BC is the most beautiful part of Canada. The scenery will impress you as much. Joffres lake. And lake Louise in Alberta is breathtaking as well! And if you wanna have a good time Montreal is my hometown and I'll show u the way haha:P

You should! Rome is beautiful as well, have been there two times already - but in the hot summer months I prefer a cold mountain lake :P

Ah I feel so relaxed after looking through your photos. It feels old and safe and beautiful. Like the forest knows that it is beautiful and the lake and mountain know that they are there to show off.

i use my samsung s7 , but your photos look way better, did you do any color corections , because they look great . :)
Yes, some colour corrections and light adaptions have been done. But no preset filters :)
