Inspired to post seeing Steemitbloggers recap on all the great photo challenges and local nature scene for each blogger and their surroundings. A cool tree in the middle of a road just coexisting with local residents and their homes and street. There was birds and insects on backdrops of lively colourful flowers, and gardening of beauty and edible splendor.
Today we had a baby dove learning to fly. Initially we though it was injured but when we went out it was just chillaxing with us looking very calm and fluffy as we were so close we could have scooped the little fluffball up. Seeing Mommy dove looking down from our rooftop, we knew little bird was just fine. A few takeoffs but not yet reaching rooftops for little flyer, going back to our lounger chair. Took a break under the Japanese maple (close to ground as the tree is also a baby!)
