This is a great video about water safety. Drinking ground runoff and from open puddles is quite hazardous especially when that water just ran through areas that have had discarded camper debris and a 150 foot of barn wood painted with lead paint.
All I can say is maybe a lot of T-Cult's issues arise from this poor choice he made deciding to drink the spring run off. He probably ingested a brain eating amoeba...
