Hi Steemians! This is my story one time ago, I had the opportunity to come to Celala, Central Aceh, in the middle of Tropical Rain Forest of Sumatra which now has many switch to become plantation. Here what is seen is not rubber, palm, cocoa or nutmeg like most other regency in Aceh, but citronella plants. Unmitigated, as far as the eye view only this type of plant that dominates.
Celala is one of the essential oil producers which is distilled from lemongrass plants. These commodities will then be supplied to Medan to be distributed throughout Indonesia. Essential oil from this sub district became one of the original revenue of Central Aceh Regency which also worldwide, in addition to coffee.
Sometimes stop, the breeze brings the scent to the trough of the nose. The aroma is like filling nature at Celala. Honestly, I always liked the smell of lemongrass from the first. I breathe in this natural aromatherapy.
Still on the lemongrass plantation. Almost every time we glanced around the mountains, other plants also thrived, there were pumpkins, tomatoes, passion fruit, cucumbers and of course coffee. This is one characteristics of the regency that's right in the middle Mainland of Aceh.
See that i am happy, however, the tropical rainforests of Sumatra are at stake. The facts say, every year the tropical forest cover on the island continues to decline. One side to develop the economy, but on the other hand nature continues to disappear. I have no idea!
It's just a little story when we get there. More click this link :)
