Another incredible animal!

The Wild-Man's Wild Friends is a series where I try to make short, interesting, and educational videos about some of the incredible wild creatures around us. In this episode I talk about the Mydas Fly, one of the largest flies around here. If you've got a garden in their range, you just may have encountered this beneficial pollinator that just happens to look like a dangerous wasp.

I saw a video recently from Cole & Jay where they caught one, and then realized that I had a bunch in my garden just a couple days later. I'd never caught or held one before, so this was a first. Enjoy the video!
