They say that practice makes perfect.
With this new camera, it seems that the CANON EOS REBEL T7i makes perfect! LOL. I'm really digging the clarity that a DSLR brings to the table and after taking the advice of @winstonwolfe on my new macro lens, things are happening on a whole different level around here. I've always liked taking photos, I just was never "equipped" the way that I am now.
Even the creatures seem to behave differently. Just check out this "vogue" that this leopard frog did once he realized I was taking his photo! I've never me a frog that knew how to vogue before... or perhaps they just never took my photography skills seriously before. I'm not sure yet. Anyway, we've got a few more fun ones below! Enjoy!

Is the frog on the prowl? I think the better saying is "Practice makes permanent." Your shots of the leopard frog is so surreal. It just not captures the subject(frog) but the environment or surroundings behind it(presumably a swamp/wetlands).
With an equipment like yours, it could really work wonders. I love how you depicted nature here. Natural and at its finest even as simple as capturing an amphibian.

I think it is not a practice, you already have expertise in photography and now definitely enjoy using macro lens, I also still study in macro photography but your photo is very perfect in my opinion and that beautiful frog, have a nice day @papa-pepper.

You have to have the eye to not only the tools ;-) You have the eye ! Awesome photos , I think I should also get me a nice camera to use. What I like about my tablet though is the big screen to look at while taking photos but will never get those nice close up shots
