The water snowflakes

in #nature7 years ago (edited)

When I went to the garden in the morning,I saw this flower bloomed in the small pond made by my mother. So I wanted to share this beauty with you too.I took some photos of the flower with my camera in the phone.Sorry about the quality of the photos.

This is called as "Kumudu"/water snowflakes (Nymphoides indica).Flowers are clustered, white with a yellow center and flowers have unusual feathery edges. And several flowers can arise from a single plant.Flowers only last for a day.And it is a very fast growing perennial water plant .And in the Ayurveda medicine the tuber and the flowers are used to treat wounds, hemorrhagic, bleeding disorders, dysentery and candida infections

Beautiful! Your flower photos are very nice too.

I checked your blog. Very nice.

I noticed you haven't posted an introduction post yet. It is customary to introduce yourself. You should write about yourself and post pictures of yourself. These posts usually earn well. ❤

Thank you very much for visiting my blog and being kind enough to drop me a comment.Actually I did not know about that tradition here.I should start that way.Thank you very much for the comment and the advise
