Bermuda has always been an unsolved mystery. There are so many theories revolving around all those missing flights and ships, but not even a single can be proved yet.
It is triangle shaped area located in the North Atlantic ocean, Bermuda triangle falls between Bermuda, Peurto Rico and Florida. It is not a small area but spread nearly about 500000 sq km.

Hundreds of people along with boats, ships and flights have disappeared in that region and the reasons people give vary from pure science facts to sheer myth.
A number of stories has been woven on the reason behind disappearance of those ships and aircraft. These stories range from UFO's to the city of Atlantis under Bermuda triangle.
The place has swallowed more than 1000 lives in the last century under mysterious circumstances and sometimes even the debris and wreckage of ships and planes can't be found.
Bermuda has become famous for the incident of flight 19 that happened on 5th December 1945. A squadron of five torpedo bombers plane having 14 men, all of which went missing during a normal routine training session and never returned.

Two search and rescue planes were sent to find out what happened to flight 19, but only one of them returned.
Subsequently several authors begun writing about Bermuda triangle based on their sheer imagination, while most of the stories were dubious and without any proof, some incidents actually happened and remained unexplained.
The topic caught fire soon enough, and the name of place struck fear in the hearts of millions.
Also at the same place in 1918, US cargo ship with about 300 men and thousands of tons of cargo vanished there.
There have been a lot of theories and research done on all the incidents but not even one of them could explain the reason behind all the incidents happened there.
Maybe the ships and aircrafts has been victims of different incidents and things might have happened quickly and unexpectedly.
The top 3 scientific theories are:
1. Methane gas eruption causing water to loose density and ships sink easily.
2. Sargasso sea which has no shores but water currents on all sides, many ships has been made motionless because of it.
3. Electronic fog which appears from nowhere, engulfs a ship or plane. Instruments stops working and the direction is lost, finally the ship or plane vanishes.

Sure a lot of incidents has happened in the same area, and all these events made people to believe Bermuda triangle to be hosting some mystical forces.
As all the incidents were recorded by US coast guards, naval ships, and sometimes some wreckage and oil spill was found while sometimes not. So the question is not whether or not those incidents happened, but how did they happened.
This is where the explanations gets blurred and sometimes gets mixed with sheer imagination.
The first person to report something abnormal about that place was the great Italian navigator Columbus, when in 1492 during his voyage to the world, he reported in his journals that ships compass stopped working and there was a ball of fire above sea.

In 2016, scientist stated that the reason of all the incidents in Bermuda triangle was hexagonal clouds which create air bombs with winds up to 170 km/h.
While Bermuda triangle has always been engulfed by mysterious accidents, research shows that based on the number of cyclones and torpedoes in that area, the number of accident is normal to any other area in the sea.
In fact according to the 2013 reports of world wide funds for nature South China Sea had the most number of accidents in the last decade.
While some mystery still revolves in that area with some unexplained incidents, most of the things are pretty much exaggerated.

Kidding!
I have always been fascinated with the Bermuda Triangle!
I loved reading your post!
I have read most of the facts you have mentioned here too. :)
I gotta say, I have always wanted it to be alien tech or something to be linked with the Bermuda triangle.
It would be so amazing!
But then again, we don't need destructive aliens.
Humans are already being destructive enough!
I'm droning on!

What a fun post!
I just did a road trip from San Diego, CA to San Antonio, TX and we watched the Gulliver's Travels movie on the drive. It's a funny spin on the Bermuda Triangle, so I enjoyed reading this shortly after watching! Thanks for sharing!
Welcome.
