The Mountains Beckon Series #7
Avalanche Lake, Montana
An awe-inspiring view of Avalanche Lake.
This is a daily series I'm doing where I briefly showcase a beautiful spot in nature that I've come across through my travels. I hope you enjoy it!
Avalanche Lake is one of the most popular hiking destinations in Glacier National Park. The trail is easy and is just shy of 3 miles one-way. When we hiked out to this spot, the weather was perfectly sunny and warm. Throngs of people were on the trail, which was less than ideal. But luckily there was plenty of room along the shore for some relative privacy. If you're in Glacier and looking for an easy and rewarding day hike, look no further!
