RE: Travel in north of Israel - טיול בצפון הארץ

in #nature6 years ago

The Golan has a typical Mediterranean climate with dry summers and wet winters. Snow falls every winter on the high northern end of the Golan and caps Mount Hermon for six months. The southern part of the Golan gets about 450mm of rail annually while retaining a relatively dry climate. August is the warmest month with an average temperature of 32.4C at noon and January is the coldest with an average of 5.3C at night. Temperatures drop sharply at night. I agree with you - more people need to visit this beautiful area.
