Ok now on to the Valley....
The Valley of Fire is a brilliantly colored area of ancient petrified sand dunes from the Jurassic period, that is located just 45 miles from Las Vegas near Lake Mead and Hoover Dam in the Mojave desert.
Elephant Rock
And there were a bunch of Bighorn sheep that just happened to be within camera range! It was so thrilling to see them.
There is a significant collection of prehistoric petroglyphs in the park
I could have spent a week there just taking pictures of rocks!
