a small fish on Steem huh?
Not as small as these little ones!
Maybe they are Minnows too?
Greetings fellow Steemians! @Ma1neEvent here with you again with another Nature Photography Blog on Steemit! I know many of us often feel like small fish here in the Steem Ocean. Often we are called red fish, plankton, minnows, etc. I recently came across some actual live baby fish out in the wild at the lake! There was a large school of
fish hanging out in the shallows...
Aren't they cool looking?
It is amazing how they stay together like that...
What do you suppose they are thinking about?
I think they may possibly be baby Yellow Perch fish, but I am not sure...
The "minnows" work together to find food and stay safe.
Look at those little faces!
Regardless of what type of fish they were, it was cool to watch them.
If anyone knows the species, feel free to let me know!
They were very skittish... and easily startled. I had to sneak around the rocks and the shoreline to get close enough to them for some pics. They didn't stick around for long!
I was lucky to capture a few photos
of them before they moved on
to find more food...
