We hit the road once again and found ourselves on a road seldom traveled.
We bet on going as far as the road leads and found ourselves on a kinda abandoned hotspring.
This hotspring was once developed for tourism here in Negros Oriental, Philippines. But on the year 2012 when Typhoon Sendong hit the country, the surrounding mountains, unfortunately, had a landslide thus covering the area.
I have heard from the people living nearby that, this hotspring is about to be revived again for public and they have actually started to work on it by clearing the area but some parts of it still needs some work as the stairs going to the pool was cut off and we actually have to trudge along the big rocks just to get to the pool.
It was just so amazing how those steams are actually coming out from the ground and how the water is really hot like i could even bring some eggs and soak it to the water and it will be cooked in a couple of minutes.
The only thing tho is the smell of the sulfur. As we all know, sulfur is a natural mineral that can be found near the hotspring and volcanic craters. Thou some hotspring have very low sulfur in them, but this hotspring has so much sulfur in them. The smell might not be that good but it has alot of amazing healing healing benefits .
The water was really hot, that i almost didn't wanna dip my body in it, but i did anyway. It was so hot at first but after a couple of minutes your body will get used to the temperature.
It was so relaxing and enriching to the body and spirit.
