I'm always amazed at the variety of insects that one can find right at home! Have you ever examined them closely? Often times they look to me like prehistoric creatures. They are amazing and wonderful and if they were larger some of them would be downright terrifying!
I have a book for identifying birds and an App on my phone for identifying plants. I think that I should learn more about these creatures!
I saw this little scorpion crawling down our hallway! Don't worry it was smaller than a US ten cent piece!
I've no idea what this hard shelled many legged creature is!
What more can I say besides incredible! I wonder if he is proud of his long antennae?
This guy reminds me of a world war two airplane!

I've not seen any scorpions around here and I don't want to! We do get some big spiders, but they are harmless. Lots of other little critters around.
I've only seen scorpions 3 times in all the years that I've been in Switzerland. They were all tiny and actually quite cool to see. I'm more creeped out by big spiders!
Oh I would not want to share the house with a scorpion! Yikes!
