Agriculture has saved people from starvation,it has also contributed to the development of our nation and protected our natural resources. These has given both young and old especially the youth to be self employed no matter your profession.
You can start by planting vegetables, rearing of birds from your backyard or garden; you don't need to acquire a large number of land to start, you can just start little and save the world.
Government should employ young and vibrant Agricultural extension workers to research and teach young graduates and farmers who are ready to go into the system, the focus on oil production should reduce and concentration should be more on agriculture. There should also be more industries for processing and packaging of agricultural products than oil refinery and the youths will be more empowered than been jobless. Serious investment in agriculture would breed more independent and employed youths in society.
