Old and abandoned on the shore.

Fishing boats and fishing equipment.

On the shore in the fjord Lyngen. Well used boats. The boats are built of wood. I'm sure there's a lot of fish caught with them.

Super cool capture, I wonder how long it was abandoned for 🧐 @karja

Thank you resear, if nobody removes the boats they will lie there until they are gone :)

It's like a work of art that old boat @karja. Dazzling pictures as usual

Thank you mimbel. Yes wooden boats is a piece of art work. Not many of them are currently being built :)

Been wanting to visit this corner of the world for ages, these photos just make me want to go more!

What equipment are you using to shoot with?

Thank you garet for comments, you are very welcome to the north, but south africa is very far. I use a Sony alpha 5100 camera, this pictures with the standard lens. Sometime I use a 70-200 mm zoom lens :)

Beautiful photos. Amazing landscapes. Traces of a human road in a harsh but beautiful climate.

Thank you so much honey :)

Those old timber boats are so beautiful. Are those floats made from cork?

Thank you tiger, yes they are made of cork from the time before plastic :)

What an artefact! The wooden floats, the rod and reel. The boat itself is a masterpiece of precision and skill.

Thank you lyfo for nice comments :)

Have good time ;) nice pictures ;)

Thank you rokas :)

Thank you sand for comments :)

Grass, Boats, ocean, beach, snow, mountains, sky, who can’t enjoy that kind of pictures :) thnx also for the detail pictures. Wonder what age they are. I noticed the fishing reel was made of wood, I don’t know if that’s just a common/practical way of making them in the north. The other equipment looks various age. You have any opinion about age?

Thank you for nice comments, I do not think the equipment is so very old :)
