A ray of sunlight penetrated the intense foliage of the forest. A plant was moved by a cool breeze while receiving the constant warmth of sunlight. All conditions for photosynthesis were given, except one: that living being had already completed its life cycle. It remained there inert as a testimony of what was once, like a cadaver destined to become the fertilizer that will nourish the plants that are around it. I think that we can also bequeath to our loved ones a kind of fertilizer when we are no longer there, but with another matter, an intangible called "spirit". The attitude, the example, the memories, the impetus.

She was there, showing the remains of what one day was, although in the light of the sun and the breeze had no effect on their beautiful vines and I could not avoid photographing it.
