Hello everybody,
Today I would like to share with you some pictures and interesting things about my hometown. I consider every inch of it to be breathtaking and picture worthy.
Pljevlja are a small town located in the northern part of Montenegro with a population of about 20,000 people (in the town area).
It's a small town with a big heart, many beautiful sights, mineral resources, forests and so on.
It's a place where different cultures and religions collided beautifully.
The Holy Trinity Monastery is the richest treasury of cultural and spiritual life of the Orthodox Serbs from the Middle Ages to the present times. It's placed in the majestic town park, Vodice.
I like to spend my time here because of the calm and the serenity, away from the crowd.
In the center of the town there is Husein-paša's Mosque (1569).
It is regarded as one of the most beautiful sacral monuments of Islamic architecture in Montenegro.
There's also Saint Petka’s Church.
In my hometown people are open minded about when it comes to different religions and they welcome and respect their differences.
The town is very peaceful and the people are kind, welcoming and hospitable.
One of the most beautiful parts of the town is park Vodice.
It is considered to be one of the most beautiful parks in Montenegro.
It has plenty of tracks for running and recreation and sports fields.
In the park there's also the Bridge of Love,
an old water mill
and the restaurant Milet Basta which is one of the park's characteristics.
I should also mention the archaeological site ''Municipium S'' which was built there by the Romans. It hasn't been completely explored, to date.
Give yourself in to the adventure and the nature and in the evening go back to the town and the tamburitza.
Don't miss on trying out the delicious cuisine of the town and it's renowned cheese.
To conclude, there are other magnificent places of the town which I have yet to present to you in my next posts.
All photos are taken by me and photographed with the Samsung Galaxy J5. Enjoy!
Wow, your town is absolutely gorgeous with a lot of history. Would love to visit there some day! Makes where I live look like a shanty haha Great job capturing the photos with your Samsung!

Сјајно @iamnemanja, али напиши коју реч и о овој новој православној цркви, а било би још боље да урадиш и верзију на српском :)
Hvala na predlogu. U nekom od narednih postova ću uraditi i verziju na srpskom. :)
