I find my morning refreshed and glistening

The earth covered in mystical fog

The clouds hazy with the glow

Of the morning light

I arise to set my feet on wet grass

To cherish every thing I hold dear

To touch the dew

Delicately descending

On the dry patched ground

Showers of joy tear drops of heaven

Slowly alights from the stores of the clouds

It comes gently Almost unfelt A caress

To wipe away dryness and drought

I plant myself in the middle of dawn

Opening my heart to the soft wonder drops

Irresistibly glazed Wonderfully jeweled

I find myself

Standing in the Sea of dew drops

The world awakes to the filter

Of the morning light

To the dew drops as they fall

In shapes of transparent crystals

From the biosphere it climbs down subtly

What a sweet smell of inspiration

One of earth's treasures A gladed beauty

I steep myself in its droplets

And connects with its sparkle

It catches my fancy

That it rests on the hung tips

Of tender leaves

In obedience to the laws of nature

I am standing in the Sea of dew drops

To rejuvenate my tired cells

And spring to life waning organs

Idyllic heavenly

Exhilarating healing

Is the fresh morning drops

Nature's cooling system

The day's wonderful delight

All that makes me want to

Stand in the Sea of dew drops

They fall like pearls on my tender skin

As goblets of flowing wine

As crystals of infinite value

They fall divinely on turgid grasses

As tiny droplets

Unhurried in their movement

Strong enough to bring to life

And to produce food for thought

The flowers open their buds

To tap of their sweetness

Of dripping wetness

Sent to flood my soul

With a rare divine encounter

As it dances on the leaves' tender tips

Does it ever remind me?

That life is fleeting

For they do know that in awhile

They will disappear with

The sun's appearing

But with a message so clear

And languid as taken with wine

I still will stand in the Sea of dew drops

Many atimes a plea is torn

From the depth of my soul

To enjoy every dew drop

To cast my cares afar

To forget the evanescence of life

Here this moment Gone the next

I soak myself Savouring the moment

A privilege to love and be loved

And even in this brevity of life itself

And amidst heaven's tears

Earth's drops

I cannot resist

Standing in the Sea of dew drops
