30.000 cranes

Africa is not the only place where you can see wintering cranes.
Every year up to 30 thousand cranes stop for wintering in the valley of Hula in the north of Israel.

Many other species of birds exploit a convenient location of this place. Here is a flock of glossy ibises land on the very same spot occupied by cranes.

Israel is on my list of "want to get to" birding spots. I've heard migration there is great too. Please think about using #birding for appropriate posts so birders on Steemit can easily find your posts, and follow @birdersofsteem where birders can find community and support each other.

Thanks for the tips, I will follow both of your advices!
As for visiting of Israel, yes, it has to suggest a LOT in terms of bird watching.

Wonderful shots mate. There is something magical about a giant flock of birds. They way they seem to all move as one. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks Harry!
