:D I love the disclaimer at the end ha!

Thank you for your kind comments @sukhasanasister! I agree with you about the intelligence of insects... all creatures, really.

I disagree about intelligence and love... I think that true intelligence can only exist within love, because love is based in a recognition of interdependence. Evil, no matter how clever it seems on the surface, ultimately shows itself to be stupid, because it fails to recognize, or perhaps refuses to recognize, the web of connection in which it finds itself. Without recognition and acceptance of the basic nature of reality, all actions become destructive to it. Hence the fallen angels playing God, with genetic engineering, fission, the manufacture of pesticides, plastics, widespread distribution of xenoestrogens... The damage being done to the fabric of our reality, on the level of DNA, and on deeper levels as well, purely by their physical incursions, is mind boggling.

The recognition of interdependence is not love in and of itself... in that I believe you are correct. But such recognition inevitably leads to love, as one who recognizes the interconnectedness of all things cannot help but want to experience this connection on every level, not only intellectually, but on the level of feeling and sensation as well. When one can communicate with others, be they animal, vegetable, or mineral, without words... that is the beginning of love.

I think we only disagree on semantics! In Anthroposophy we reserve the word "intelligence" for the head pole. And use wisdom for the heart-felt communication. Then there comes imagination and inspiration and intuition to cover the "knowing" of the soul. You describe this system - only for the sake of philosophical debate does one need to get semantically picky. Not necessary here!
Love, love.

yes, I had a feeling it might be something like that! Those are interesting, useful sounding definitions :) Looking forward to checking out your blog, hopefully this evening after work. Ah, if only Steemit were my day job lol
