Tomato field in my Uncle's farm [5 photos]

in #nature8 years ago

Last week I visited my uncle and went to his farm. Luckily he planted tomato, one of my favorite ingredients when eating fried fish. You just cut it to pieces and add some pepper and soy sauce to taste.

Here is the farm it's not that big but he can sell some to the market as a source of income.

Here is another angle where the sun is settling down.

They already harvested the matured ones during the morning that is why all the greens or unripe are left out.

This is how they look like. They have fair enough size.

This is the view that includes the trees and mountains in the background. The weather is somehow cloudy that day but the air is still fresh unlike here in the metro, every day it's polluted.

That's a lot of tomatoes. Thanks for sharing.

Here we have usually grow tomatoes in greenhouses, else the cold takes them.

Its always warm here hehe. I can only imagine the cold weather you guys have there, never been to such place. Its good that you have greenhouses for veggies :)
