I think these roots are of Bombax tree which is known as semal tree in India. This tree is amazing. Once a lot of vultures used to dwell on these trees but now they are almost extinct.

I think this one wasn't a Bombax tree!!!...must be some other...I am still trying to find that out! Hopefully soon, I will !!!
