Olumo rock, an ancient formation of granites rocks, is located in Abeokuta, Ogun state. It goes way back to the times when songs of war dominates the airwaves in Yoruba land. The rock is a monument of traditional religion of the Egba people as they believe it protects them always.

Olumo rock has it’s highest point at 137m from the base if the rock. In addition, the rock served as a tower of strength for Egba in their wars to defend the settlement. It’s to them what the statue of liberty is to Americans.

Olumo rock looks very special place like you describe in the post.
It is off topic but just to know can you tell us the Ogun State size compare to other states in Nigeria. Also, is there other natural attracting location in Ogun state?
thank you
Out of the 36 States in Nigeria, I can say Ogun state is not so large nor small. It's actually number 24 in Nigeria when talking about land mass. It occupies about 16,762 kmsq. And yes there are other tourist attractions in Ogun like the Ebute Oni tourist beach, Osuuru water spring and many more
Thank you
You're welcome
