Gosh I definitely resonate with a lot of this! I actually suffered from asthma as a kid, as well. It really reared it's head when I started playing sports, so they dubbed it exercise induced. Looking back now, I can see it was a response to anxiety and possibly overstimulation. The first time I had a really bad attack was when I was in for the entire basketball game without getting benched once. Within the last few minutes of the game my body just said "I'm done". I haven't had any issues as an adult, though I know myself and my limits much better now.
I saw the comments about the sleeping with at least one blanket or sheet on, too, and I'm over here thinking "finally, someone gets it!" That's the only real argument my boyfriend and I have. I have a hard time sleeping when the house gets too hot overnight in the summer time and he is forever telling me to not sleep with a sheet on. I CANNOT sleep without something over me. I can dangle my feet out or an arm, but need that layer of comfort even if I'm sweating like crazy. I can't wait for the cooler weather to finally hit here, haha.
I'm excited to research this topic more. It was really eye-opening to learn about my introvert side, and I can imagine this topic would really shed some light on some other facets of life.
