Wow! We have been totally gobsmacked, bowled over and AWED at the stories that steemfolk have sent in this week, building on the AMAZING posts in last week's round up - if you missed those, go check them out. The #naturalmedicine tag is really beginning to take off and we have had so many messages that affirm that we're doing good here on the blockchain, uniting all of us that really care about natural healing and have knowledge to share. Thankyou to all of you that entered - and we mean that! Every single one of you really warmed our hearts, and we poured over all your posts.
We're still deciding on the winners, and have decided on two, which we will announce tomorrow. However, here is the round up thus far:
@kennyskitchen's happy smiling face came in quite late in the fortnight but boy we're glad he did. His post explored his journey from taking mushrooms which totally re-arranged his idea of self and his life, to selling kombucha, to creating and selling "Bud Kindly, producing healthy, consistent cannabis-infused products that weren't just made of sugar, wheat, and dairy (like everything else on the market at the time)"

He writes:
Over the past 5 years, I have dedicated the majority of my time to sharing #naturalmedicine with the world, through my cooking, the giant pouch of essential oils I travel with, tinctures, education, and by being an example of what mindful intake can do to reshape a human life.
@aware007 made us fall off our chairs with his urine drinking story - but hey, we are all open minded folk, aren't we? The best thing about it is how much it's affected his health for the better, and his story is TRULY remarkable. No pictures though, please. Like @kennyskitchen, this has reshaped his life, and he's determined to spread the news and educate people about the benefits of this. When we get off our chairs, we'll do what we can to support him, and all you other amazing folk here!
@methmetheus writes about the first time he experienced acupuncture (at the urging of his Mum), which sent him on a journey of recovering and healing AS WELL as deciding his career path for him. Read his post here . We love the lyrics embedded in this post, and thought the ones by Depeche Mode were beautifully appropriate:
To the soul's desires,
The body listens;
What the flesh requires,
Keeps the heart imprisoned.
What the spirit seeks,
The mind will follow;
When the body speaks,
All else is hollow.
— Depeche Mode
@guchtere wrote about his allergy to trees, which @riverflows found pretty interesting because her husband is also allergic to some, particularly flowering pine trees. He had a lot of success with bee pollen, which is great news. Has anyone else tried bee pollen for allergies? Find his post here.
@trucklife-family writes about how natural medicine empowered her life here.. We particularly love what she has to say about natural medicine - her definition is fabulous:
@trucklife-family with her bodhran (drum) in a ceremonial space
@crescendoofpeace wrote about water kefir, and made us all thirsty, as well as elderberries and kombucha - three fabulous natural medicines that us here at @naturalmedicine also super appreciate. Her post is really detailed, so if you're not sure how to make kombucha or water kefir, she might be your go to!! Find her post here.
@porters tells her remarkable story recovering from a terrible accident. Read more here. We found ourselves really sympathising with her being forced to recover in a city, and in a hospital, longing for the natural world to heal her. @porters also wrote and the influence of nettles in her life, which we sadly missed in the Week 1 roundup. Do check her out...she is a big supporter of natural medicine.
@enjoyinglife writes about natural medicine giving them their power back here, talking about cupping, chinese medicine, enemas, a plant based diet and sunshine, and, like many of us, including @porters above, nature herself as a natural medicine.
@terranovaearth wrote this post about her PTSD and depression and how ayuahuasca helped her journey to healing.
@rawadventuress wrote her post on travelling and getting tonsilitis, and gives a great remedy for how to heal that! She's a late entry, so I had to edit this post to include her - I really do hope you get to check her out! Go give her some loving! Read this post here
If you'd like to join us on the Discord, we'd love to see you there - here is the link: https://discord.gg/X69k4sa. We'd love to encourage you to use the #naturalmedicine tag so we can find you easily and give you some love in the form of upvote, and resteeming too if we love it! We'd also be so appreciate of anyone who thinks they might be able to delegate - every little helps!

I just uploaded my entry, I hope this is not too late already? 🙈
I am already exciting to browse through all the interesting posts!
I will add you now. 💚
I found this post because it was resteemed by @riverflows. Looks like a good page and I'm excited to follow!
How has #naturalmedicine impacted my life? I can't say that it has.
I am looking now into making a medicinal herb garden in an attempt to live a more healthy and sustainable life. I was just diagnosed with dangerously high cholesterol at 29 years old. Good thing we've been getting in the homesteading mindset, so an herb garden is right in line with our goals! We're getting there :)
Fabulous!! You will enjoy the learning curve and hope this community helps! 💚
so many amazing entries, so many inspirational stories and wisdom shared, thank you @naturalmedicine for making this happen xx
I would much rather read about something natural than anything with a "Big Pharma Stamp" on it.
