I've been trying commercial kombuchas lately in an attempt to develop a taste for them and to see if it's something I could see myself making at home. This flavor is my favorite yet I think.
Home brewers like @riverflows and @belleamie, do y'all find that commercial varieties are pretty true to the possibilities of a home setup?
I've heard people claim that they drink "boosh" as @riverflows calls it and don't see themselves drinking it regularly, then they end up with strong cravings for it after a little while.
It's cool how your body can tell you so strongly what it needs as soon as it finds out what that thing is.
Be blessed.
Be fruitful.
Stay relevant.
Nate.

I find that home brewed boosh can taste better, particularly the 2F with the flavours. I did start mine going with a plain flavoured shop bought one. Are you going to give it ago?

I'm thinking about it. Not committed to it yet, but it's another way to try and incorporate more NM and holistic healthcare into my daily life.
I drink so much GT Gingerade its financially shocking.
Maybe you could start brewing your own!
Not the volume I drink, not enough space in the house... drinking16 oz a day 😣

Check out @belleamie. She does a continuous brew system in what looked like a 3 gallon container. Just drink when you want and replenish it as you go.
My home kombucha tastes just great. But, if it sits too long, it tastes more like vinegar, and not long enough it is too sweet. You could bottle it at just the perfect moment. I'm experimenting with making just the right amount in the continuous brew vessel so I'm in the perfect zone more frequently.

Cool! So refrigeration stops the brewing, just like with sauerkraut?
Exactly. So, if you like it a particular way, maybe do a regular brew. If you are flexible on taste, then go for the continuous method. Admittedly, I am enjoying the continuous method.
The pineapple peach is by far the best tasting one I've had. I hope to be brewing/consuming my own in the near future, if I can get it to taste half as good as that P.P. that is.
Ooh, try it! Also, head over to the Natural Medicine discord server linked above and use the #naturalmedicine tag so we can all see your progress! :
