Professor and writer of Computer Science and Engineering Department was injured in the stunting during a program at Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (Saturday). Nuhash wrote in the status, "Such incidents happen to everyone. You may have been spending time each day. Suddenly a phone or message came and found out that someone near you was sick. Then you have to run in the hospital. Generally there are cases of heart disease or stroke in such cases. But today's incident was not such. One of my family was attacked.
The media was busy how the event would be broadcast live. They were busy spreading the attack in such a way that it was a Hollywood action movie. My Newsfeed has already been filled with intellectual thinking and prayers.
I just want people around me to feel safe in this country. But the reality does not seem like that. For me, it's not politics, morality, or ideology, it's just my family. And I want to tell you that my family is very strong and incredibly vivid.
If there is sorrow, violence and even death in this way, my family will still try to change the world.
Zafar Iqbal, who was attacked on March 3, at the University of Dhaka on Saturday afternoon, was attacked. There was a closing ceremony of the two-day 'EEE Festival-2018' of the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) division. He was the chief guest.
After the attack, Zafar Iqbal was taken to Osmani Medical College Hospital. During the treatment, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina sought her help and asked to take the CMH of Dhaka for better treatment. The government chief ordered the attackers to be arrested. At night, Zafar Iqbal was brought to the CMH with an air ambulance.
