While perusing ZeroHedge today I read an article on NATO members in February voting to create a free transit zone in Europe for their military. This would mean a NATO member could transit troops and weapons of mass destruction anywhere in a European member state without first obtaining permission from any state.
This is a mission creep maneuver to form a European Union Army which currently meets with resistance. It is a half way measure to reduce national sovereignty.
It would be interesting to know if that means the European members of NATO can transit their armed forces through the USA and Canada without first having to get permission. Seems to me this would work for all members but I haven't read the agreement.
Looking way down the rabbit hole I can see this as a precursor to UN troops being free to transit any member state. This is not a game of checkers, it is chess.
