RE: Individualism requires Nationalism

in #nationalism7 years ago

I think in Canada at least, we have more individualism then nationalism . Most Canadians have nationalism but it is not the same thing as the governments thought on the subject. Long and short is that individualism and nationalism work well together but they have to decided on by the populace of the country not the government, like it is in today's world.

I agree. That's why it's so scary to see so much collectivism & group identity politics going on here. They think individualism is 'mean' and 'selfish' and doesn't help the whole. They totally don't get the concept of how as each of us 'individually' persues our own selfish goals taking us towards what we individually feel is our happiness..we inadvertantly make things better for others along the way. Totally lost on them. They'd rather take what's not theirs feeling all soft & cozy inside as they redistribute to others....sigh

" selfish goals"? personal goals are not selfish, they are just goals, something you set for your self and is no ones business but your own. To feel selfish about your goals in my opinion is just a left over from the programming that we need to separate from our lives . BTW good video.

I mean like persuing your own self interests. Liberals view it a negative as in selfishness as though they themselves aren't doing it too ya know?...lol

It's funny because they are 'everything' they say they're against and refuse to admit it. They selfishly persue their own happiness. But they think that since their happieness 'is' to do for others 'as well as' themselves.. their persuit is more just. Law & individual rights is present nowhere. That is..until they themselves need them. They can support illegal sactuary cities under their perception of what's moral. Our Law is superceded by their own moral judgement. Because they cannot ram their National Socialism quick enough through the legal process (Congress) they feel entirely entitled to break the law. And openly & proud at that...o..m..g
