On April 16, 1972, Apollo 16 astronaut Charlie Duke left this photograph on a moon surface in a plastic protective cover.
He wrote this historic note behind the picture: "This photo belongs to the family of astronaut Duke from planet Earth descending to the Moon in April 1972."
Since the atmosphere in the moon is not a volcanic activity whatever photo, as long as one does not touch it, it will always remain there the same.
interesting !

awesome! as time goes on our footprints will be left all throughout the universe, mars here we come!
except cosmic rays and ultraviolet rays in an environment with no protective atmosphere must certainly mean it's totally blank by now. photographic paper is not exactly known for it's hugely light resistant properties. he would have been far better with a pencil drawing. it would take a long time for the carbon to fade away !! ;)
