Ride Into War

in #mysolace7 years ago

This is meant for a duet in a style inspired by Linkin Park and Chronic Future, and content from my soul. The different level quotes are lines done by two different vocalists slightly overlapped. When produced, the song will be on DSound and I'll post a reply to this thread.

Things that
he showed me
immune to
prevention,

the murder
explaining
the hero's
redemption.

The softest of whispers

thunders through me,
a waterfall breaking a shaking symphony.

No merciful deafness
no silence of death,
he's looking straight through me and I've lost my breath.

Filled with the shame

of the bareness of man,
I hide and I bury my face in the sand.

He whispers again
to stand up and I must,
he reads me my sins,
violations of trust.

He's holding my heart
in the hand on his right
the left offers knowledge of darkness and light.

Burns up my soul

and restarts me again,
I know that I'll die but I'll never know when.

Things that
he showed me
immune to
prevention,

the murder
explaining
the hero's
redemption.

Things that
he showed me
immune to
prevention,

the murder
explaining
the hero's
redemption.

I lie with the truth
and it's seven to one;
more of the other leaves
death when I'm done.

Treating the symptoms
will anger diseases,
once healed by compassion with infinite ease.

Covering darkness
makes dark a shade darker,
compassionate hearts can be hurt and made harder.

The herbs were for soothing

the healing of nations,
what's left of the world is abomination.

The accusors's accused

of the defense's shame,

and I want to take it and shoulder the blame.

Be careful in payer

and mindful of magic,
you'll get what you ask for,
what you ask is tragic.

I'm terribly careful in
choosing my words,
cause accidents kill
when you're leading a herd.
The weak are the strong and the
wrong become right,
the nights look like day now
the dark has turned light.
He's offered to give up his life for my part,
and to ransom my soul with his own shattered heart.

It's all upside down now
and no one call see,
you won't surely die if you eat from this tree.

You call yourself blessed

in the grand tribulation,
perish in ignorance with all information.

In the day and the hour
when you eat with me,
you'll see how you've fallen so far from the three.

When you can all read

from the words of the story,
you'll know why you're meant to fall down for his glory.

I'm forever laboring
I'm never getting paid,
eternally I'm dying but I cannot pass away.

When you open up your eyes

and then you start to see,

then you'll finally to understand what is was meant to be.

I'm terribly careful in
choosing my words,
cause accidents kill
when you're leading a herd.
The weak are the strong and the
wrong become right,
the nights look like day now
the dark has turned light.
He's offered to give up his life for my part,
and to ransom my soul with his own shattered heart.

Things that
he showed me
immune to
prevention,

the murder
explaining
the hero's
redemption.

Death is promised for us all
the peaceful end reprieve,
the world you live inside the wall was given to deceive.

The serpent lied that you won't die,

the truth was in the knowledge,
the understanding, the arcane bewildering the colleges.

Weak will see the powers fall,
their rulers killed by stones,
the ones who see will try to warn and end up all alone.

Men will seek for death in those days,

and death will only run,
just as I do, they will know to await the blameless one.

The ending is spoiled

and none of it matters,
the faithful will find that we burn,

Endlessly seeking
a way without God
to escape the relentless return.

I'm terribly careful in
choosing my words,

cause accidents kill
when you're leading a herd.
The weak are the strong and the
wrong become right,
the nights look like day now
the dark has turned light.
I've offered to give up my life for his part,
and to ransom Satan's soul with my own shattered heart.
I'm terribly careful in
choosing my words,
cause accidents kill when you're leading a herd.
The weak are the strong
and the wrong become right,
the nights look like day now, the dark has turned light.

So lift up your horns

if you feel the enlightening,
hold high your heads and
give up all your fright.
Stand on your hooves and
be filled up and brightening,
redemption's at hand and your sins are made right.
Soon we can lift up
and fly by the night,
shackles be broken
by heavenly light.
The night and the hour
we know what we're for,
is the night that we saddle and ride into war.

Things that

Things that

Things that

Lift up your horns, raise up your voices,

flaming and powerful wings and the sword.
Stand tall and proud as your maker rejoices,
in all of you dark ones with love for His word.
Lift up your horns, raise up your voices,
flaming and powerful wings and the sword.
Stand tall and proud as your maker rejoices,
in all of you dark ones with love for His word.
Lift up your horns, raise up your voices,

So thanks for reading my overly long song, and hopefully you'll give it a listen when it's produced shortly. I'd love some feedback if you've got it as well.

Sort:

@toupee -- Can I get you to record the double-indented lines, in a similar fashion to the reggae rap you did about that teacher? And then upload it to DSound. We're going to do this entirely public and on the blockchain.

Anyone else -- I'd love it if you could post contributions you think might work. I'll be mixing the one that gets "published", but the rest is under an implicit CC license, and you may mix up your own end product until you like it. Again I'd like it if you upload to DSound and let us all enjoy!!

If you have anything you've done a lot of work to make, go ahead and post a separate topic for it and make sure to tag it as "busy". You stand a decent chance at getting paid that way.

Yes - wait wait, what teacher? You mean the Sexy Robot?

This DSound thing seems pretty cool....

Sexy Robot Rap? I think that may have been it ... And I mean whoever John was with the not allowing research from wikipedia ... it was so weird and oddly angry and the music way outran the vocals. And DSound is fantastic, and also runs on STEEM. Just like DTube and this. Actually if you check your account on steemit you've probably been paid in some manner.

Oh yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah, that! Okay. Well. I didn't do that yet but I did do this. https://dsound.audio/#/@toupee/ride-into-war-vox1 It's TOTALLY not right.
