Is this your first time witnessing this kind of carabao post in Steemit? Haven't seen one myself lately but let me showcase it then. I will be gone for a couple of days because of vacation to climb Mount Ulap in Benguet. But before I go dark, I just wanted to share first my entry for @timsaid MyPictureDay Round #9.

Had some good shots of these carabaos hauling dray carts. These carts came from the mountain where the farmers planted and harvested their yellow corns. The corn, still with their husks, are placed in sacks then get transported to the other side of the river, which we were at. The carabaos were having a hard time crossing because of the strong current. I even photographed a dog trying to cross but got carried over by the rushing water. Don't worry the dog made it down the river, it was able to climb the banks.

This is what it looks like before the farmers descended down the river. The filled carts were from the mountain where there were corn farms and the empty once were making their way to get their corns transported

And here is the dog I was talking about earlier that suddenly came out of nowhere, the dog was a good swimmer so he was ok. Don't worry :)

Now, allow me to bring the story back to the carabaos carrying the corn. The water level is not high just fair enough for the animals to walk without drowning and the goods without floating.

Finally, the animals made it to the shallow water with their goods intact on the carts. Everyone was safe crossing the river. This is a normal scene that we witness in the countryside here in the Philippines where farming is the main source of income. People need to work hard to bring food to the table.

Nature is so beautiful and in this pictures looks amazing!

Thank you so much :)

Nice photography!! Ngayon lang ako nakakita ng kalabaw na tumatawid sa ilog. They must be of good help to their owners. Ang cute din nung aso. Daig pa ako magswimming haha

Hehehe Maraming salamat kabayan :)

Damn, don't think my 4x4 can cross that river, and those carabaos make it look so easy :D

Hehe that's right it looks easy for them and they do it during harvest and planting seasons :D

It reminded me of the old times when I was still little and I used to ride carabao before at the farm.

Nostalgic isn't it? ;)

ganda ng kuha and the message:)
