Hello everyone!
For the past few days away not only because of projects in the making, but also a sort of break and some moment of reflection, the usual for the end/start of the year.
I am really proud that I managed to accomplish a few goals and had so many good changes in my life in 2021 that I do believe that 2022 will be as good or better!
One of the best achievements that I had was reaching the Dolphin Status!

For this year there are so many things I want to do that I really need to manage my time well so yeah I'm still not ready for the new year ahaha
I'm just kidding! The show must go on even if I'm not really ready.
At least I started a list of tasks I want to do..
I just need to organize them somehow...
For the next few days, I will slowly get back on track on creating content, at least maybe to get back to what I was doing like having a few days posting and another few days just curating and commenting so I can focus on other things.
Speaking of focus, I decided to narrow back my Hive Goals this year. Probably this will change through the year as new projects are born and others die, that's life even for crypto!
Let's go to the fancy table:

I will keep doing the tracking with HiveStats at the end of every month for the overall, but I will also be keeping track of my HiveBuzz profile weekly!
I want also be better at engagement so I might think about setting some specific goals in this area...I'll come up with something for the next weekly goals post!
Of course, I've been adding the usual 5 HBD every week on David's Savings and it's looking good!

Those are nice goals, indeed! I don't want to mess with your decisions, but maybe David would be happier with some cryptocurrency? I mean HBD is crypto, but it's kind of pegged to the USD, and knowing how they are printing them from thin air, the inflation will kill the value... Of course, if you plan to accumulate for the long-term... Not financial advice :) :)

Oh yeah been thinking about using the Coinbase feature of recurring buyings and keep buying bitcoin or something. Or even use part of the HBD later on and withdraw and have some outside Hive and take advantage of some wallets that have interest earnings. That's another task on my infinite list 🤣 HBD savings was like a no brainer and easier to get started.
Are you doing something similar for your kid? Is there a wallet like Coinbase that I should consider checking?
I have bought my son 1 ETH last year for his birthday, when it was like $200, and some BTC :) As he is already grown up (hahaha... teenager), he is doing research about coins alone... :) He has his own hardware ledger, so no exchanges for keeping the money :)

It's still early for David to understand but I will slowly introduce as he starts to asks questions or get curious about why his Mother spends so much time in front of the pc lol

Not that is bad to be away, taking breaks are important for our sanity lol but it gets hard to get back sometimes and we end procrastinate or even giving up..

Exactly without goals you have no direction. Goals help keep you on track. Just be sure you know they can change over the course of the year I know mine did! Got mixed up in wax for a while lol

I'm happy that I improved my Actifit Report posts so they can get better rewards in those days that I don't create other content. It takes time go get noticed though but it's worth it!
Having some variety of content is important too so you can meet new people and build your following!

Being a bit ambitious is fine and you can always revise your targets later if they are out of reach. It looks like you got a lot of work to do to reach those goals by the end of the year.

I can't really talk about my own goals because my account is really small and laughable 😂, I have to work in silence for now, I'll start talking goals and aspirations when I've gotten to a certain level😀👍
We always start from small, you cannot think about reaching the 5K HP before reaching the 1K.
What matters is that you have a target and if you believe is this project or if you have your own personal goals that you want to achieve focus on those and forget the rest no matter how long it takes!
There's no perfect time or perfect level to do something, you simply do it!

As for me, I like to be at least half way to where you are in producing content as well as commenting and curating. I know it will be while before I reach the status you're at but I'm working at it.
Like you there are so many things I want to be a part of but am not sure how I'll be working toward it. Not sure what my major focus will be just yet but will be deciding by the end of this week.
