HIVE HORIZONS: An Account of Thoughtful Expression

I never thought I could finally start something like this – phew! Anyhow, let me walk you through as you read along.

To tell you honestly, I am no 'travel-grapher' type of a wanderer. I have been to lots of places and communities in the Philippines however, no matter how much fascinating the location, I don’t often get a decent shot of the scenery nor have a lot of portraits with me on it. I do disagree though that it has to do with the camera I am using – although that can be a factor. What I do strongly believe is what no camera can take – an unforgettable memory.

This makes me wondering; how far our senses drive us to fascination or amazingly how our minds go wander each and every time we recall a special memory. And from that realization, I took on the approach of my first blogging experience further. I am most looking forward to bring out the same senses that carried me away with those memorable experiences. And more importantly, I want to impart a narrative of my cognizance from the simple matters of my personal space to the communal substances of the political, academic, and philosophical world. Thus, I created these concrete themes for my #HIVEHorizons journey - a way to describe my thoughtful expression.

Like most introverts feel, making myself be known to the crowd is one heavy step to take. Not because I am afraid to exist amongst the loud, but more like the fear to be accepted and welcomed. Having known myself for years since early childhood, I seldom open up to my friends and to my family. I always get this feeling that nobody cares. And as much as I don’t bother someone else’s discernment, I also don’t want mine to be cared. But experience has taught me that I cannot possibly not care about others when all those times, I only want to be acknowledged and regarded for my efforts. This prompted me to understand more on how myself and others see things. And as much as respect is valued, each of us has our own say and perspective – and it’s called constructivism per se.

This #HIVEHorizons account will definitely be a boggling read on how I process my thoughts – more like my take on any agenda; written simply to invoke my right to free speech. As an early notice, my choice of words won’t mean any harm.
