It's very unlikely indeed that people will get a big curie for every other post. One of the curie guidelines is that it is unlikely that an author will get multiple big curie rewards in succession, especially if the type of content is the same. The exception for that rule is if the content is truly exceptional which could be the case. Or they could be getting a relatively large curie upvote from a steemstem upvote (as curie follows steemstem) or through a direct follow/community vote (which are usually considerably smaller votes).
I'd be interested to see which authors you think are regularly getting big curies.
