I live with my brother in Brasov, Romania. My parents live in a small city called Targu Carbunesti, and with the occasion of my mom's birthday, they decided to visit us and check out this beautiful historical city.
We have the whole week planned out, and during the first day we decided to visit an old 15th century fortress on top of a huge hill. Its positioning must have been very crucial in the early days, because it oversees the city from all sides, and I imagine it was quite easy to defend.
Anyways, let's look at some photos I managed to take.
This is during the climb up to the fortress. The architecture in Brasov is quite unique and fascinating.
My mom and dad clearly not looking forward to the climb.
Beautiful view on the way up. The big hill with the Hollywood-type letters that say Brasov is called Tampa. We are planning to climb it during these days, so stay tuned!
Me looking directly at you. Charming.
Me and pops.
Pops and fortress. I actually didn't get that many shots of the fortress, and I'm sorry. I'm learning okay?
Pops and city view.
Hope you guys enjoyed seeing a part of one of the biggest and most popular touristic cities in Romania.
If this gets traction, I'll probably post more from the days to come. Have a great day!
