My son has been getting into skateboarding lately, which has been fun to watch. He normally skates around our neighborhood, but we took some time recently to go to a local skatepark:
There actually are a lot of skateparks in the Southern California area - according to google, the exact amount is unknown, but is estimated at a couple of hundred.
The particular park we went to is one that is good for newbies and beginners, which is what we are needing. Sure, there were a few falls, but thankfully, no broken bones. :)

Love these moments. Skateparks are such great places for kids to build confidence while having fun — looks like he’s really enjoying it.
