Protests in Myanmar under the slogan 'Let the military dictatorship end'

The largest protest since the military coup was in Yangon, Myanmar. About a thousand protesters marched on the street near Yangon University. Most of the protesters raised three fingers to salute the army coup.

The BBC reported on Saturday that protesters had called for the overthrow of the military dictatorship; "Let democracy win, let it win," he chanted. They demanded the release of Myanmar leader Aung San Suu Kyi and other detained leaders.
