I think there are so many things we know little or nothing about even in our field of study. More painful is that, we never are able to fully point out what we know about what we know. We see what we want to see and then we know what the world wants us to know.
WHAT I SEE. I can see that the world is messed up and that no matter how good people try to make a difference, there always will be a reason for us not to be able to fully grab what the picture shows because, they are illusions.
I grew up in the very rugged streets of Warri Delta State and in my growing up days, we were constantly made to believe that what we see is it.
We are constantly pointed towards the divide that makes us understand what the Society wants us to see, understand and know.
We are told to be smart, strong, educated and God fearing. Going to school in those days was a must and if you 'dare' come forth and tell your parents you want to be a musician or artist of any kind, 'you will be sitting in the midst of the elders, while they consulted the traditional deity about your condition.'
My street was the most twisted and most neglected yet, the most thriving because we were always working to make sure we stayed above waters and then survive to live.
I see that in the ghetto, there are no-gooders, criminals, thugs, rogues and everyone who survives must be feared because they are thugs.
I see that the need for self validation never came from the individual but from the streets.
I see that it is only those who work for the government that are able to afford the good things of life.
I see that the bright young men on the streets always die young because they always manage to get screwed.
I see that it is compulsory for you to attend school and then to wait for the government or society to determine the kind of earnings that suits you.
I see pain everywhere on the streets and despite the struggle that happens and the selfless sweat we put into making a better day, we never get the true value for our sacrifice.
I see live going full squared making some very few to be all powerful and strong while riding smoothly on the majority who do the work.
I see nothing changing and as for a country like mine, we wait endlessly and no matter what we put into making our day better, we end up coming up short.
I see my rants making me look like a twisted and crazy individual who constantly thinks, he will make an impact and make the world a better place despite the difficulties laying square ahead.
Now let us see my Knowing.
To know, you must open the curtain!
I know the world is crazy and that nothing works when you follow through with the plans and laid down rules of society.
I know I will never amount to anything waiting on the government to govern and make available the things we need to ensure we live well.
I know I do not have to go on ranting about the pains that we feel and will feel when we wait on the society to help us grow.
I know I will have some more winnings to do because I have seen and now I am working with the things I saw.
I know I am a winner because, someone has to win and I am sure there is a spot for me on that podium.
I know I hit the goldmine when I joined Steemit over a year ago.
I know that we need a decentralized society that helps its youth think outside the box.
I know this is a good place to be and when you happen to get it, you win.
I know what needs to be done to ensure the world stays sand and flourishing.
I know you know what I am ranting about.
Seeing the way life is programmed to make the majority work under a slave styled setting, it will take work to bring about a world where the gifts and true love of the creative commons become profitable to direct in terms of growth and life in itself.
Crazy thing is- I am right now in my hotel room in Uyo where I am getting ready to attend the RootHub Seminar/Meetup where I am expected to talk to an audience of smart individuals about Steemit and the Steem Blockchain; and the question I ask myself is,
HOW IS THIS HAPPENING?
I MEAN, HOW CAN A REGULAR SMALL TIME TOWN BOY BECOME A ROCKSTAR BLOGGER AND SPEAKER, SPEAKING TO INDIVIDUALS THAT ARE MORE EDUCATED THAN HE IS?
HOW AM I ABLE TO CONTINUALLY RIDE SO BEAUTIFULLY ON THE STEEM BLOCKCHAIN?
WHY IS THE STEEM BLOCKCHAIN IMPACTING MY LIFE SO AND THAT OF MILLION OTHER CREATIVE COMMONS?
Anyhooosss, this is my rants and I know it is consistent with that of a dreamer who happens to walk into dreams taking wings.

Your rantings are in order. It's like you are trying to take stock and I deeply identify with that.
Honestly the blockchain is an emancipation agent sent to change status quo and free us from the shackles of poverty.
Now I am smiling excitedly. Glad I have amazing people like you who I now call family. Steem on!
Sometimes what we know could be a mystery to us if we do not fully understand. I have been there before, never really knowing what i think i know.
Steemblock chain has being designed to be very simple yet so powerful a tool to make even the smallest bigger and the biggest smallest exvept they ate willing to work hard.
You are not a small town boy, althpugh i am yet to meet with ypu which i would one day courtesy my travels, but from what is shown here and what i see you have worked so hard for it. You deserve all the rewards ypu are getting. And am even more elated and greateful that ypu are willing to help us get to the #stach side of life.
So as steem blockchain impact you impact us, impact ypur world, show them it does not matter where you come from, your background or who you are, all that matters is that you re ready to see your last blood to achieve your dreams and love people back to life no matter the #teardrops they have.
We are solidly behind you even in spirit as we pray for you over here. May God in his infinite mercies strengthen you!
Very well, i am solidly behind him. He deserves whatever he has now, is doing and has done. Thumbs up to him. He is setting the right paradigm to were we should be
I feel really blessed being here on this platform amongst you amazing and awesomely blessed individuals. The knowledge that flys around is effective.
Truer words have never been spoken.
To add to this, I know that by holding ourselves accountable for whatever situation we end up, we are able to stop the blame game and focus on taking concrete actions to effect change in our lives and in turn, teach others to do the same.
Everyone currently reading this is doing exactly that and with just a little hard work and perseverance, we all will start to see some positive change.
Your comment just says it all. Being accountable is what life needs from everyone who truly deserves to become a game changer. Steemit is helpingbmany find their voices and soon enough, it will sound loudly. Thank you
Indeed!
I saw some news yesterday that excited me. I believe @orukpeyendis also shared the post. It was about a Turkish football club that purchased a player using bitcoins. This made think of Nigeria and how simple it could be to lead the world in the adoption of cryptos as a means of payments
For me I will say the adoption of blockchain into the Nigeria system will add more value. Blockchain has the potential of creating new foundations for Nigeria economy and social system.
Reading comments on this post . I am happy to see that the #steemit blockchain is gaining huge presence in Nigeria. That is a positive change. I hope to see the community grow and spread all over the country. @ejemai It will be nice to do a meetup in Lagos.
Blame game always pulls us backward...True words by @ejemai
I see that life is not a bed of roses; no food for lazy man.
I know every little effort yields results.
Yes you see and know rightly. Thanks.
Wow great news boss ejimia. Truely no matter how we try to change the world once the mindset is not in tune, itwill end up in futility. Boss keep the flag flying....@jacobite and @ michaelcj told me about your passion which also stirred him up.nice one
Thanks and looking forward to your exploit here and on the offline.
I can totally relate to this post. Growing up in Delta State I get the picture you create very clearly. We see what we see but we know what the world wants us to know. So much injustice yet they preach no one is above the law. They shout change yet the poor keep getting poorer and the rich keeps getting richer. God help us. God help #nigeria
Amen, God help us indeed. The story has always been the same from generation to generation and that is why I am so sure this time, it will be told from a different pointbof view. Thanks and Steem on!
A regular small town boy can do this when he has placed his focus attention, time and all other sacrifices....
We look up to you and you don't give up on us if there's one person I would love to meet is you,
See all you have done in one way or the other am trying to be like you attimes I wonder if there's another back benefits to what you are doing but I came to realise that you are growing us and your self together
Till the day we meet
Your biggest fan
@izzrael
Thanks mate. Your words are kind and also comes with lessons.
In life, you take out what you put in and no matter how small, it always makes sense.
I kept reading this line over and over "I know I hit the goldmine when I joined Steemit over a year ago" That line gave me a whole lot of hope on seemit
Thanks and that line is true. Steemit changed the way I interact on the social media space.
These politicians just want power to loot our money, create chaos and misunderstanding among the citizens. But now that we have found the light.. This is so amazing, we won't work for the government but we will survive and live our lives happily, this is financial freedom, a whole new world of freedom. People work for 30 yrs and above and retire with nothing in their pocket. Politicians come to within few years they are rich. These politicians are very cruel. This new freedom is the best thing that ever happen us. Steemon
Politicians are indeed the criminals in the society and they rob us of everything including our good names. It is therefore a good thing that we are taking the world by storm and soon enough they will become crumbs grabbers. Thanks
I totally agree with you. There is always more to give, to achieve and to live for. The grace for all that is available to you. I am following precedence. Thank you for being a light to our world.
Thanks and I agree with you.
Live your dream!
This is a facet of life, we can not determine what the future will hold for us but a little thing can triggers us to automatically experience changes in our life. That is why we should love change accept it and hold it tenaciously.
#steemsoccer1
The future is always now and will be what we make of it. I think live is the only true equalizer of the beauties and uglies of life. Steem on!
Indeed I can really relate to this , because growing up from the streets of Port Harcourt wasn't an easy one too.
Your GRACIFIED story is a clear indication that someone's background can't place your back on the ground.
Your blessed I must say!
Greater height I pray....
Thanks Braide and you just taught me a new word I will gladly use from now. Gracified. This is one reason I love Steemit, there is a win at every corner.
A simple answer to this is "Hardwork and Persistence" you've given a lot of time to the steem blockchain, done so many good deeds at so many levels to diverse people and I think you actually deserve the rewards you're receiving. Like we say in Nigeria "I want to be like you when I grow up". Well done Sir! keep being you.
Seeing is knowing, thereby the eye of Providence is a symbol for human ambition in science- despite a face value meaning of having a watchful deity guard us. But to know is not merely to see, but to see without bias or prejudice (to use your "third" eye). Your insights are true and profound, I hope that your message will propagate forth
this is really encouraging. we have all it takes to be better.
keep it sir.
keep inspiring
keep motivating me as a begginner
keep the good work
God bless
To start with, this post gives me a summary of a young man who saw a need or a vaccum in his society and he fills it,it shows a man identifying a problem and likewise providing a workable solutions.
@ejemai you went through all these for you to provide help for those that are going through the same.Thank you for allowing others to see light in your light.
Thank you very much for the supportive words. We all have a light to shine and I believe it will never dim no matter how many people you use it for.
The knowledge of decentralizing the society for the youths to think outside the box is what we really need at this point for things to change and balance the status quo of our dearly nation. Am pleased that my community "uyo" is blest to have your presence there hoping to meet you one day.
Hoping to meet you one day too and, I enjoy being a part of your community. Thanks
I will be mostly honored.
my english is not so good but i realy like your post thumps up bro
I don't care what I'm SEEING, all I KNOW is @ejemai is a good guy for telling people about steem. I'm a witness
Woow that was an epic post... Afterall you made it you still making it..Bless God
I see that the society has made you seen things they way they want you to see. They've shown limitations to you. They've told you how to do it and how not to do it.
But I know you now know what to do. Never to believe all their lies and stories. I know you know you need more than you know because that's what made a one time town boy to this wonderful man you are.
I think there are so many things we know little or nothing about even in our field of study. More painful is that, we never are able to fully point out what we know about what we know.
True, i think that most times we dont want to dig deep into our inner self, we rely so much on what is on the outside!
even the school that is "tagged" important teaches us to be part of a "rat" race, Like it's the only way we can survive. We don't decide for ourselves, the world now decides for us. Those who follow their dreams are called "NFA'S NO FUTURE AMBITION" and will still criticize those who use their talents to make a lot of money. Life!
It is what it is, but I do know that, no matter how long it takes or how hard it gets, we will come out strong as a people.
Bigger and better you sire.....
Thanks
Nice piece @ejemai, thanks for being an inspiration to many
Thank you Choose.
Inspirational! That's what I felt upon reading the last word of your article/post. I think we all become winners at some point. We might fail today and felt miserable but as soon as we pick-up ourselves and redeem ourselves, for me that's a victory. Life is a never ending struggle to success, always remember that. Keep your faith up @ejemai, i just recently discovered your blog/writing, from what i just read, I know you are already making a difference. Keep it up & Take care!
Thank you for your comment. Life indeed is a never ending struggle and winning or losing never truly defines us, it is our ability to keep on that make the difference.
I feel so inspired with this post. I just wish everybody will rise above all the problems that surrounds them and get to a height without problems to impede their velocity in life, especially in this part of the country where the government care less about the poor masses.
Nice work @ejemai
That there is my wish and that is why I am so confident we will find the win soon enough. Little drops of water they say...! Thanks
Sir, sometimes I wonder if you studied philosophy.
:( Hi Karla, I just wondered now if you rhymed those lines in your usual musical capacity.. lol. Thanks for being awesome.
Yeah right? I think I should a rhyme on steemit and in how it's blessed me... Definitely you'll be in it. @Its-kg ft @elemai 😂😂😂
Love this article bro.
Very inspiring and educative
Thanks for motivating the newbies
keep the good work sir
what I see will determine what I will become, I believe this seeing will help me know where am going to in life. Thanks, @ejemai, you've been a source of inspiration to many including myself and i bless God that our part crossed.
Thanks and I indeed thankful for you.
Nice
Good one
That's the hit for me right there.... no matter the situation, it's all gonna come good with persistence.
Thank you @ejemai for this
Thanks for finding my story to be worth something. Steem on!
This post is very inspiring. Honestly sir, it's because of people like you am still here on steemit. Most times when I look at my blog, I say to myself "what would I have done without ejemai". God bless you sir and grant you the grace to touch more life's beyond your expectations. Cheers
The feeling is mutual Enajo and Amen to the prayers. I am here on Steemit and being able to do these things because of people like yourself as well. Steem on!
A story of grass to grace.
I feel like
dancingfamzing you (I'm from Delta too) but nah, make I no disgrace the small pidgin way I sabiI love musings too. Maybe I should post mine. It was inspiring reading yours
I see that this post is very enlightening and really beautiful.
Reading this post, I got thinking and asked myself how blind people get to know what they know. It's definitely not through what they see
So this basically justifies all you've said. "we see what we want to see and know what the world wants us to know". Great post again. Steem on bro
